Party Wall Agreements

Development sub-group are responsible for ensuring that party wall agreements are in place when building work is done in a property adjacent to a Vine property.

  1. A party wall notice is served by the developer. This asks whether the Co-op will agree to a joint surveyor, or equivalent person, to check the party wall. This is normally agreed by the Co-op.
  2. The party wall is then surveyed and an agreement is drawn up. A member of Development should be present at the survey.
  3. The agreement should then be presented to the MC for ratification.
