Improvements to Properties
The policy relating to tenants making amendments/improvements to Co-op property is covered by the following point in the current Tenancy Agreement:
5.14 Improvements
The Tenant shall not make any structural alteration to the Premises or the Property. The Tenant may carry out improvements to the Premises but only if the Co-operative first consents in writing, such consent not to be unreasonably withheld. In particular, (but not exclusively) tenants living above or below other Co-op tenants may not put down wooden, laminate or any other hard flooring without prior permission from the Co-op.
