Policy on carers

The Co-op will make funds available towards costs of care during Co-op meetings training events and similar commitments for those with caring responsibilities. These include those caring for children and those who look after someone with a disability. This policy will be applicable to all Co-op members who can provide evidence of their caring duties and the costs incurred. Co-op members will submit requests for compensation to the Finance sub-group. Requests will be approved if they are considered reasonable and appropriate.
